Name check Confusion!!

I called TSC few times. Spoke to nice ladies and THE RUDE ONE.
NOTE: ALL these calls were made within 3 days.

RUDE lady: "check status online.. blah blah blah"

Nice lady 1: "Told me my application in pending security checks. But said that since my application is pending for more than 180 days, my case should be cleared irrespectively. Did not tell anything about my spouse case since she was not present at the time of call."

Nice lady 2: "Told my case is pending security checks. And that my spouse case is pre-adjudicated and that her security checks are cleared. My application has to wait till Jan 2009 as per the memo."


Question-1: Will my spouse case be adjudicated irrespective of my security check pending (I am the primary Applicant)? (If yes, i do no have to spend money on her EAD/AP renewal)

Question-2: Got 2 different info from these Reps on my case. Which one is true? My case will be cleared since it is past due 180 days OR Wait till Jan 2009 as per FBI memo?

Question-3: Is there something I can do to make things better? Like getting in touch with senator etc etc...
