Name check clearance

I had my GC interview on July 21 in Mumbai. Most of the things were fine but my birthdate was not entered correctly. They swapped my date and month of birth. They are going to do name check clearance against the new birth date and hence I am still stuck with the process. Rest of the documentation was correct.

Does anybody have an idea regarding the time it takes to obtain the name check clearance? I just hope that there wont be any additional issues apart from this.

A month ago some one had similar situation at Mumbai Consulate. If you check in this forum on Name Check Clearance you may find useful info.

Where did this error appear first. Was everthing ok till that point ?
Did the error was in Consulate Letter of Appointment ?
