Name Check anybody?

Is anybody being stuck with FBI name check lately?
it has been 1 year now and FBI hasn't cleared it. I was reading up on the board for previous posts and concluded that Senators/Congressmen DO NOT help when it comes to security issues including my senator who has previously informed me with that. I also read about the FOIPA but i don't know if this will work or not and i don't know where i can get the form. Is there anything else i can do other than wait??

Asylee01,
Mine is stuck too, I spoke with an IO recently and he said there is nothing they can do. I sent a letter to the ombudsman and did get a response from USCIS and they said the same thing. I am thinking of contacting my senator, maybe it will make FBI bump my name up the list.Hey what is there to lose by trying?
 
The sad thing is from what it seems to me is that even the senators don't have power over FBI at this point. :mad:
