Hi Gurus,
I'm planning on filing a name changing petition for my minor child in Montgomery County, PA. I was told that they didn't have a standard regular petition form, and that instead I could research in their law library or ask for a lawyer to find out the right format of the petition. Does anyone out there happen to have done a name changing and can maybe post the format of your petition? I'd really appreciate it if you could help out!
 
There are many law offices that have 'Name Change Kits' for changing the name. For example, http://www.legaladviceline.com/namechangeforms.htm[/URL]. But you will have to file it in a court.

Now if you are close to and interested in filing for Citizenship, you can do it on the N-400 form. I am assuming here that the child in not a US citizen.

Yes I've started the process. Filed the petition, scheduled a hearing and am about to put an ad on two local newspapers. It's all seems like a matter of formality.
