Name changed when GC filed !

Hi gurus - need your help !
My wife is on H4. Her passport, I94 and even the 7th year extension - everything has her maiden name. While filing for GC ( EAD, AP & I485) the attorney has filled in her maiden name as the middle name and my last name as her last name ! ( Dont ask how she signed it without checking )
Now - will she have a pbm with the approval? or to re-enter if we do a foreign trip. Some one suggested that we cahnge the name on her passport. Is that an easy way out ?? Please help !!

you should have checked it too

its not her fault completely its u r attorney's fault and u shuold have chked it too..

anyways dont worry at the most u'll get an RFE ...u should be fine..

u just have to mention tht it was by mistake and give all other evidences of her actual name.

Same case with me.

The attorney mistakenly used my wife's last name instead of mine. Now, our GC is approved but her card is being delayed because of the name change request. The immigration officer during our passport stamping noticed the issue and she filled out a form and asked for our marriage certificate.

No need to worry really. Just delay of few weeks.
