Name change

Really don't know what I was thinking when we went ahead and changed my wife's last name on her SSN. Now, I am realizing that it can have bad impact on our 485/AP/EAD processing and also while traveling abroad.

Name as in her passport: Not changed
Current 485/EAD/AP: Not changed

Wife used EAD to get her SSN.

Name on SSN: Changed
Drivers License: Changed
EAD/ AP renewal documents: Changed

Experts ....any inputs/opinions?

just get the passport changed to new passport - the indian consulate gives it in 2 days - once that is done travelling is not a problem, only problem that you will have in name check for FBI bcos they will do name check for old name and new name - other than that i do not anticipate any problems

Our name check already completed. So, hope they won't request for revalidation.

I am in NC and planning to get new passport by mail.
