Name Change to spouse in N400

In the Form N400, Section D, there is a provision to change the name.

Is it ok to change the surname of the person applying for the citizenship to the surname of the spouse?

Does one need to submit specific documentation for the name change? Are there any issues if one does this?

The Guide states that the name change can be done if a court in the area does Naturalization Oath services. We live in San Francisco Bay Area so I would assume this can be done.

Any ideas on the pros/ cons of this?

Thanks

You can change your name to ANY NAME. Therefore no explanation, justification or documentation is required.
It's your right at the Naturalization time to change your name, if you feel like doing it, just go for it you don't need to worry about anything. :)
