INS issued me a RFE on 4/26/03 after they approved the primary applicant. It is about a legal evidence for my name change.
I received the RFE on 4/30/03 and went to local court to file an application for the name change. I got the judge's order for my name change yesterday. But the effective date in the document says Jun 19. Because they gave me around 40 days to publish the name change notice in newspaper. I contacted local newspaper yesterday. They will put the notice on next Monday's (5/19/03) newspaper. Then I am done. So it doesn't need long time to finish all of this. Do I have to wait for another month till the effective date to send the RFE out?
