Name Change Process (After Marriage)

So I got married after my Fiance came to US on a Fiance Visa, I filled for her GC right after that with her Maiden Name. Now that we are very close to getting her Green Card (Still waiting on IL), how can I go about changing her Last Name. Can I do something, so when the GC comes, it has her new last name on it? The Marriage Certificate carried her Maiden Name.

What we did was tell our interviewing officer that I would be taking my husband's last name, and she changed it on the I-485 form and then I got the new last name on my green card. Initially, when I filed the I-485, I was still using my maiden name. Hope that helps.

During my interview, the IO asked me if I would like to change my last name and I said yes I want to have my husband's last name. So when my card came it came with my last name changed.
