Name change on N-400

I am sending the N-400 for me and my wife and we are doing the Name Change on the application; my question is can I also do the name change for my children as well by adding a supplemental for the children during the interview ? anyone do something like this?

Why change names? Maybe alter spelling from Smich to Smith. I think you'd need to go to court to change names and there must be a basis for wanting to change names.

No you can not change your children names if they are not applicant in N-400 via US Citizenship -Naturalization process. I would say complete N-400 process...then do name change for children separately via your state court system.
