Name change of company

Hi All,

We are at our final stages of processing. We had our FP done in August, got an RFE in October and replied for the same. Myself and my son were also determined to be out-of-status but was sorted out and when we spoke to an IIO we were told that everything was fine and we have to wait for our PD (August \'97). Now my husbands company is going for a name change in January \'01. How is that going to affect us?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I do not know if INS has somekind of company database where they can find a company\'s name etc using their TAX ID or vice versa. If they happen to notice a name change, they may or maynot send a I-140 redo notice. Anyway be prepared to do one if the company name changes. Since your PD is Aug 97, you have sufficient time to get another 140 approved. If you do not mind spending for 140, I recommend get it done for peace of mind.
