Name change & Green card application

Hi,
I am married to a US cityzen about 2 months ago. Now I just started thinking about the green card application. I am not exactly sure what I should do first. I am also in the process of changing my last name. I don't know if this will affect my Green Card application or not.
I am currently a F1 Visa holder. Should I change my name on my immigration documents (My I-20, I-94, Visa...) before I file my green card application?

You don't need to change your name if you don't want to, it is a personal choice.
