I am in the process of applying for OCI. I have a slight name mismatch issue between Indian Passport and US Passport.
Indian PP reads as :
Given Name: A...... B...... N......
Surname : None
US PP reads as :
Given Name: A...... N......
Surname : B......
Please note there is no name deletion or addition. It got differently distributed. My question is: Is it considered a name change and have to go through all advertising process. Has anyone come across such situation please help me.
Note: I emailed and called CGI Houston several times. Finally I got hold of and was answered by one gentleman; " See it is confusing. Sounds like it is not a name change". Refused to give me his name as reference.
