Name change after 485 approval, before plastic

Hello all:

If there is a legal name change after 485 is approved, but before one receives plastic, what forms is one supposed to fill out ?

Form I-90 seems to be designed for someone who has already received the plastic

Would appreciate tips from anyone who went through this.
My lawyer is trying to unnecessarily squeeze out from me even at this stage

I-90 is for any change after approval - whether you have plastic card or not. While passport stamping you can only change mailing address, but not name or any other vital information. You don't need to be squeezed by your attorney. You can file I-90 in your own.
