N400form - Not filed tax return

Hello,

I just had a question regarding tax filing question on the N400 form.
I didn't file taxes in certain years I earned below minimum wage of filing (I was a college student earning meager allowances) and it says on the instruction pdf of N400 that I should send "all the correspondence with IRS in regards to my failure to file."
Would it be ok if I just send my W-2 forms for those years showing my income? (Tax transcript website is down, and it also doesn't have return transcript for one of the years anymore.)
I would very much appreciate your help in this!!
Thank you!

You never failed to file taxes in certain years because you did not had to file.

I would answer question 7A on the N-400 with "Yes" and would send copies of the W-2 with an short explanation that you did not had to file..

Based on my experiences at the N400 Interview, they don't really care about minor tax issues. Just take your W2s with you and explain that you did not file because your income was under the threshold. That's it.

I also had a similar situation.
