N400 timeline for Houston/TX

I have a GC and am eligible to apply for Citizenship in Nov ' 02. Could anyone please give me an approximate timeline for the District office processing times in Houston, and the INS timeline at TSC for the citizenship process?

Anyone who has already applied and got a response/approval at Houston/TX, could you please provide the dates?

N400 Houston/TX

I believe I have to submit my N400 to Mesquite center (TSC) and they would then forward it to the district offices (Houston, in my case). I think I have an idea about the houston district time (about 455 days), however, I am not sure if there are additional days involved at the TSC, once its been processed at the District office, or about the lag in sending my application from TSC to the district office.

What are the basis you are applying for? It also depends on that. If you have all your paper work in order, and have no objectable issues, I think it should process faster.

Thanks a lot. I am applying on the basis of 5yrs as Permanent resident and have no other objectionable issues. Hopefully, things will move faster, as I have heard that traditionally Houston takes longer.
 
A couple of my friends (in Houston, TX) got their N-400 completed recently. As per them, they filed in March/April 2002 and took their oath in September/October 2002.
