N400 Question

Hello,

Thank you to all that have posted valuable and detailed information on these forums.

We have reached the point where I am trying to fill in N400 and I am getting confused. What should I put for Part 8 (question G) ("How many times has your spouse been married?"). I am married and this is the only marriage for me and for my wife. Is this question excluding the current marriage or including it?

Also, I understand that it is highly recommended to have a cover letter when submitting an application. Is there any place I could find a template?

Include the current marriage. So for married people the answer must be at least 1.

Cover letter is unnecessary unless there is some complication you need to explain.
