Hi All,

Apologies as this question might have been answered many times..

Signuature - Do you put it down as you do on your credit card / banks etc?..
I abbreviate for these.. I used the same when on my green card.

Now this form says - "do not abbereviate" meaning I have to write my full name (that is legiable fully). This will not be same if compared to my green card or my credit card etc..

Any recent filer or gurus ?

Thanks,

This is an extract from a memorandum issued to field officers on April 25, 2008:

"Effective immediately, applicants are to sign their photos using their normal signature. Normal
signature means signature in English unless exempt the English language requirement of 8 CFR
312. Signatures need not be legible and names may be shortened consistent with the applicant’s
normal signature. Applicants who are seeking a change of name at the time of naturalization
should not sign their photos until after the name change is granted."

Thanks

Thanks for your reply.
So .. I guess your regular signature is fine unless you dont say "A.B.C"..

Thanks Again..
