N400 only asks for 5 years

what if i applied 7 years after i got GC employment based..

will they still ask if i stayed with my GC sponsor at least 1 year
after i get GC if i resign 1 year after i got GC..

During my N400 interview the IO asked me, why did I leave my sponsoring employer. I replied 'Better career opportunity' she accepted the answer and did not grill me further. Additionally she asked for how long (total # yrs) did I work for the sponsoring employer. My answer was 5 years.

You only have to list the last 5 years on the N-400, but the interviewer can choose to ask about employment before that.
