N400 & N600 together ?

Citizenship application-Simple Question

dear pundits appreciate help- do mom and 14 yr old son send N400 and N 600 together in one packet

or does the son wait till mom get the citizenship. yes both stayed here in USA for just over 5 yrs on PR.

If the Son planning to derive US citizenship based on his Mom, then he needs to wait until his Mom becomes an USC (and he will automatically become a USC the same day the Mom takes the oath). He can then apply for US passport and later for a certificate of citizenship if needed

Is the Dad an USC? If so, the Son may already be a US citizen
