N400 Interview Date

My wife and I applied for our US Citizenship together. Both of us received our acknowledgements on the same date. The request for Finger Printing came on the same date. A month later she received her notice to appear for the interview but I have not received my notice. I checked the status of my application and the system says that my application is still being processed and I should wait for a decision.

Can any one shed any light on what this means? Is it normal for a husband and wife application to be treated differently?

Don't worry about the message on the case status. That's a generic message.

Regarding your wife receiving her interview letter while you are still waiting is not very uncommon. There has been many instances about such cases. BTW, what are your priority and FP dates? And what is your DO?

RECEIPT DATE: 6/20
FINGER PRINTING DATE: 7/5

District Office is Santa Ana California. What is a Priority Date? I am still new to this!

Does this mean that my interview date and my wifes interview date will be different?
