N400 in Dallas - Mesquite

I have not received any communication from immigration office since I mailed my N400 application with all the accessories...
They seemed to have cashed the $400 check, but there is communication with receipt# etc. I mailed on March 6th. The check was cashed on 13th.

When can I expect any communication? Do they mail receipt letter with a receipt# for tracking purposes?

Hi there!

In my case (Vermont Service Center) it took four weeks for them to snail mail me the official receipt. Some get it within a week, others in four weeks plus. I would not worry too much. If nothing shows up in your mailbox, call them after 30 days plus.

The receipt number should be hand written on the check. I would recommend keeping a copy of the cashed check in case there should be problems later on.

Regarding my application, I could not 'track" my case until the day I found the receipt notice in my mailbox.
