Can someone send me a link of the required backup documents that is needed when filing for the N400? I reviewed some of the threads and was confused because a lot of the information is about the interviews. Many thanks in advance.

Documentary requirements vary based on your circumstances.

Are you applying based on 3 years of marriage to a US citizen, or the regular 5-year rule? Or some other basis like military service? Have you taken any long trips abroad in the past 3 years or 5 years? Have you divorced or gotten married since obtaining your green card? Do you have a driver's license?

Have you read the N-400 instructions, and the Guide to Naturalization?

Thanks Jack

I am applying based on the 5 year post green card route. I have a drivers license, its from PA so I will convert it to a VA license. I have lived in VA for the past 6-7 years and have filed VA taxes. I hope that this license issue wont be a problem.

I have the read the guide, but I am not certain about what documents to provide as backup with the N400. Many thanks in advance for your help

You should read carefully the N-400 document checklist and see which items apply to you:

Regarding the drivers' license, this is definitely an issue that you must address, at least by the time of the interview.
At the interview the IO typically asks the N-400 applicant to show the current driver's license (or non-driver state ID card). This is what the IO usually uses to verify that the applicant satisfies the 90 days state/district residency requirement. If at that point you have a license from another state, that will certainly be an issue.

Btw, aren't you breaking the law by driving in VA for 5 years with a PA license? Most states have laws that require you to get a local drivers license for driving a car within a certain period after you move there.
