in form n400 they ask "have you been ever arrested?
i was arrested in COP(eventually thats why i got asylum here)
should i say yes or no to this question.
second question...travel dates..do we also include days spent on flight?
third question....we can apply 90 days in advance.what if i mail my form the day so they recieve it exatly on 90 days before.but date next to our signature on the form.........will this be ok i put the date the one is 90 days one..?can they object the form was mailed three days ago how cum my date is advanced../just technical silly question.cuz i donnt want be late by a single day dudes.:D

I really don't see any reasons on why you'd want to time your application date to perfection ( i.e. 90 days ). Why don't you apply it 80 days in advance instead? It will reduce tons of hassles and confusions.

Hi, I do not know the answer to your question regarding arrest. I just want to say it seems not a good idea to cut the date tightly when you send N400 application. To be safe, you need to wait a few days after 90-day's date.
My GC was approved on June 8, 2005. I am preparing N-400 forms also. There have been nothing special except getting tax return scripts for last 4 years. Later I will try to get the scripts for 2008.
I am living in San Jose CA and hope good lucks to all of us.

Didn't you mention your arrests in your asylum application? Weren't you asked that from the officer or judge? They should have that already listed there.

I think he wants to ask if the "arresting" in this question means any arresting before and after being granted asylum or only after being granted asylum?

ok dudes,i take your words and will mail mine on the 90th day.i been just dragging my life without citizenship.thats why i dont want waste a single day.cuz i think every day they recieve 1000s application that will push you back in the line.
i live in san jose,ca too.i have a heard a rumur(plz donnt attack on me)..an officer from asylum div. in san frans moved to san jose and he had sent some cases back to court for reopening during citizenship process.have you heared anything like that..?plz sahre if you have some info.
i have sitting right here a person who had his interview in sacramento last month.he put "no" in that question.when officer went through his form he asked him again"have you ever arrested?this dude replied"not here"
and officer didnt ask anything after that.
i am gonna have an attorney filing for me just for safe side.let's see what he suggest .i will update you after i give him my case.

yes twice .but for genuine cause.to see my mom.who was seriously ill.she is gone right after i visited her.

Dont believe in any Rumours. they are meant to scare you. Have you visited your COP?

I agree. Do not believe in rumors.

Regarding the travel dates, I used the stamps on the travel document to calculate the days on travel. I travelled once only for 2-week business. It does not really matter if I put 14 or 15 days on N400.
