I got my Green Card in 2002 in Michigan when I was living with my friend. After that I change two addresses in Michigan( leases under my name) but did not file AR11. I didn't knew about the new law. in 2005 jan I move to Tennesse and file Ar11. Now I am filing for citizenship. My question is should I mention those 2 addresses in N400 or should I just pust the address in Michigan which the INS had on file. My friend still lives at that address. I will appreciate your response

In my opinion, Naturalization is the process by excellence where you disclose the maximum of informatino about yourself - where you have been living, working, details about your family etc.

Listing the addresses on the N-400 is part of the process and I would strongly recommend you to disclose all addresses where you have been residing over the years.

The residence addresses you list on the N-400 can be used in the minimum for the following purposes:
- determination of your eligibility (having been residing in the USCIS district for 3 months). This should not be an issue as you have been resident in Tennessee for over a year.
- background checks. The USCIS will check your background in the places/cities of residence you have listed. Also, if your fingerprints are found unusable even after you get fingerprinted a second time (if they were unusable the first time), you would need to provide the USCIS with police records of the places where you have been residing.

While an honest mistake is understandable by the USCIS (as you mention, you were not aware of the new regulations), I believe you would get in lots of trouble if you did not list on your application places where you have been residing in the last 5 years.
