N-600 application question.

I have N-600 question for Flydog or who-so-ever has applied N-600 for their kids.

As per instruction sheet I got along with N-600 form after Oath Ceremony states that I have to submit "Copy" of Parent's Naturalization Certificate with N-600 application for kids. But the Naturalization Certificate itself has warning on it under the Photograph saying "It is punishable by US Law to Copy, Print or Photograph this certificate, without lawful authority".

The question I want to ask Flydog or anybody applied N-600 is "What did you guys submit?" the original certificate or the "Copy" of the certificate.

Also when one submits petition for immediate relative, do they have to submit original certificate or copy? Because one of my friend submitted the original certificate when he petitioned for his brother thinking that he will get his naturalization certificate back after some time. Now it is almost 2 years and he has not yet got it back.
 
Photo Copy Good

I submitted Photo Copy of Naturalization Certificate with N600, I even took an infopass and asked this question to Immigration Offier, he said taking photo copy of Natarualization Certificate was not only allowed, that is what needs to be submitted with the N600 and not the original.
 
We copied my wife's Natz Cert. I figured if they asked for it, they were giving us "lawful authority".

Don't give them the real one - they process takes too long, and, if they loose it, they'll probably make you pay for a new one and take a year to give it to you.
 
USCIS officers at my oath ceremony explicitly told us to make B&W copies of the natz certificate! The only thing they don't like is full color copies...

I had read somewhere that they prefer Money Order or Cashiers Check with N-600. Is this right?

And some guys sent N-600 to specific address and it was returned back with advice to send it to different address. If you had same experience, what was the new address?

I used cahsier's check and sent it to the published address for the DO. Promptly received receipt in 2-3 days.
 
I just used a cashier's check and sent it to the Dallas DO (both of which I think I got from the instructions)
