I forgot to enclose my photos and photocopy of my greencards and check for fingerprint. But I sent the application fee $260 and it was cashed last week.

I have not heard or gotten any receipt number from the office. The 1800 number is not helpful if there is no reciept number.

The check at the bank shows a LIN number in front and multiple numbers in the back and none of them are clear. Cannot find any EAC number.

How long does Nebraska service center take to process. What do I do? Please advise. Can I just go ahead and mail the stuff I forgot to send or is it better to wait for their response?

Just my thougts....

- It would be difficult for someone to track your case without a receipt number.....
- I am sure USCIS will send you a letter to provide the additional fee and documentation required....

It does not hurt to keep trying to call, and talk to a live officer in the mean time...
 
i think your application may be sent back to u for
lack of correct payment. for fotos and photocopies
they usually send out a notice saying received
with exception... keep and eye out....

call the 800 number and spk to someone too, but
most of the time they are of not much use
 
N 400

Nebraska service center. (approx dates)
N400 applied first week of feb '04. Priority date feb 2nd week after check was cashed.
Fingerprint april 3rd week.
Interview June 2nd week. (10 questions from the usual 100).
Oath July 3rd week.
Passport with me now. 1 week after applying (paid 60$ extra).
