1. To all who applied for N-400 while I -751 was pending, please advise. Basically , the N-400 file would really look like th I-751 is n't that right? The only difference would be the length of time as the N-400 would cove more span of time then the I-751 file. Please advise/ comment as to how the file should be prepared while I -751 pending.

2. I have asked this so many time and I feel embarrased to ask this again. My AOS date is 7/24/01. So, I can apply for N-400 ANY day after 4/27/04? But not before 4/27/04 right? Can someone confirm this (the 90 day rule)

3. IRS transcripts - I obtained them. However there are two questions 1. Do i need to go to my local office to get them certifed (not my transcripts but actually the 1040s? 2. The " Guide to Naturalization"lists 3 year of tax returns for folks filing as spouse of USC. 3 or 5yrs of tax returns?

4. N-400 fee: If sent before 4/30/04- so I will still pay one single check of $ 310? right?

Hiee, ok here is what I did.....you should although confirm this anyways by calling the INS customer service 2-3 times and talking to atleast a couple of reps.

1) My N-400 file was basically the same as my I-751. I included all the bank statements, leases, tax returns etc. My N-400 only covered upto 3-4 years span. I guess you can do more if you have the documentation for it.

2) You can apply for citizenship from 90 days before your 3rd annivesary of the green card !! So your calaculations are correct.

3) I am not sure about the cerification of transcripts....i did not do that. I just submitted my tax return copies. You may wanna look into this further. I just attached 3 yrs of tax returns with my N400.

4)Yes its a single check of $310. Make sure you get your cancelled check from the bank...coz I didnt receive my receipt - and they said taht I can use my cancelled check as my receipt.

Alrightey - hope this help.....
