Hi, did anyone filed at TSC on May and recently finished fingerprint on June? Can we start a new thread for shareing information for each other/Houston DO?

My timeline:
PD: 5/9
FP: 6/15

Waiting for IV!

Have you got any news about IV letter? I saw lksim filed TSC/Atlanta, PD 5/9, got IV letter from TSC on 07/03. Please update if any information available. Thank you!

No updates here. It's 4 weeks now since my FP date and my online status has not disappeared yet!!
 
LKBECTZ,

One other thing, the interview letters are mailed from TSC but I am sure they are based on the work load for the local DO. Comparing Atlanta and Houston, their processing times from USCIS website seems to be close. Atlanta is 2/20 and Houston is 2/28. So hopefully the interview letters arrive soon. I hope that neither you nor myself are delayed because of name checks.

MY PD is 5/1 and FP is 6/7.
 
I would have a second timeline in about month :) when my wife mails her application. Her application is ready now but she is on vacation overseas and we decided on waiting before mailing her application till she comes back.

Have you saw another thread about Houston DO, the latest information for PD is 4/6 for citizen9999, it looks like only take 10 days for citzen9999 to receive IV letter (FP:5/12, IV NOA:5/22), Already IV on 6/21. No other newbie post their timeline.

Yeah, I am following the other thread as well and almost all other threads :( . It's a month now since my fp and my case still shows online. Based on most of the cases in the other threads, it seemed that people were getting their IV letters in 2-4 weeks from fp date. I am starting to believe that it may be a name check delay. The timeline for citzen9999 is faster than the norm for Houston DO. Normally it's 2 months for IV date from the time you receive IV letter.

buddy sanantonio/austin have one of the fastest processing times in entire u.s.a,closesly followed by our own H'town
so for now relax and have fun...
Houston d.o has a bunch of friendly i.o's so you guys should not have a problem!

I/O said Prepare for Oath August 9, 2006, cause thats what letters would be going out for.

Interview for me, wife and 20 yr old son, all 3 interviewed separately. No passports, marriage certs, nothing was checked. They were apparently breezing thru the interviews.

All 3 were told same thing, to expect Oath August 9, 2006. My son was even given dorections to the place on Aldine Bender Rd. with maps and all.

Awaiting letters for Oath now.

Wish me luck. :)

I called 1-800 Cust Svc just now and try to find out what's going on for FP result, a nice lady told me that their system down since this morning, ask me to call back this afternoon or tomorrow. Will follow up.

Thanks for the update. I really doubt that the 800 number would have any info but good luck. May be trying to reach a supervisor there would help.

I saw "one more like u" post FP:6/5 which is Monday for fingerprint. But ASC close on Sunday, Monday and all federal holiday. Don't know what's going on, now they open Monday, too?

Good catch :cool: . His time line is very fast with FP on 6/5 and interview 7/7. That's a pretty short time between FP and interviw.
 
LKBECTZ, No news for me. I called the FBI 2 weeks ago and was told the same thing. From looking at various threads, it's clear that the FP check and the name check are different things. USCIS has been scheduling interviews before the name check is complete and then informing applicants during the interview that their name checks are still pending. Based on USCIS notes at the end of April, they now are trying to hold interviews only after the name check is complete.

This procedure is not happening at DO's yet as you still read reports of people being told at interviews that their name check is pending.

I cannot say for sure that, at this time, the reason for the delay for you or me in receiving the IL is because of name check. At least I hope it not. It's only 4-5 weeks since FP. When 3-4 months pass with no IL in sight, I will no for sure what's causing the delay :(

Yeah, my priority date is 5/1. I received the receipt notice on 5/12. You would assume that the name check started around that time. Who knows how long it will take!!
