N-400 - Self and Spouse

Hi all,

This is a question to folks who have submitted N-400 along with their spouses. Both I and my wife received all communications on the same day, up until now. We got our Receipt notices (NOA), FP notices on the same day. We completed FP on the same day.

I received the Yellow Letter, but she did not. Is this to be expected or should we follow up?

I understand that each individual's N-400, regardless of the relationship, are treated separately, but wanted to find out about your experience.

Did you and your spouse receive the Yellow Letter and subsequent communications such as Interview Letter on the same day?

As you have said, each application is processed in a separate manner. That may be the reason for the delay. Maybe your wife will get it soon. You can inquire about that status if your wife does not receive the letter within a month. Good Luck!!
