N-400 Requirement. Stay in US question?

I am ready to apply for US citizenship after having the GC for 5 years.
I have been out of US for about 210 days in last 5 years. None of the trips exceeded 40 days.

Is there any minimum stay required in US last 5 years before one can apply?

These 210 days outside the US ..will it affect my eligibility?

Thanks a lot in advance,

I wouldn't think so. I travel quite a bit too (for work) and was out of the country for quite a bit in the 5 years since getting my gc - no individual trips over a month. My application seems to be working its way through the system.

You will, however, need to go through the process of tabulating all your individual trips (date left, date returned, where did you go and how many days you were out). Upon my lawyer's advice, I also cross referenced each trip to the passport page that contains the relevant entry/exit stamp. Where I didn't have an entry/exit stamp (sometimes they don't stamp my passport at Heathrow), I included my travel itinerary/e-ticket as support. The lawyer believes this will make life easier for the IO when he/she checks through the application and therefore for me.

You are allowed a maximum of 900 days outside US within a 5 year rolling window. In addition, no single trip should be longer than 179 days, otherwise you risk breaking continuous residency.

So, it sounds like you should have no problem at all.
