N-400 rejected due to missing signature in the application form... Need help

I submitted N400 application 2 weeks ago. I received the complete package back: my N400 application, photos, Green Card copy, and money order today(17th.october.2009) The USCIS send back the application, cause it was" missing" my signature from form N-400. The reject receipt notice specified to re-submit the application with the appropriate fee and signatures to USCIS. what that mean ? do i have to pay again 675$. can i send them same money order again ? also do i need to send the rejection letter I-797 along with my paper work. They send me everything stapled in one stack of paper and the check is also stapled with the rejection notice. I would send back the package the way it is with my signature but there is a green page which says put this on top of you application for faster reprocessing and they stapled it as the second page and not first. Does it matter?

1. No you do not have to pay again. The check/money order was not cashed. If you have the money order I would suggest you go back to the place you got it from and ask for a refund and make out a new Money order (you will lose the fee of course) reason, You want to be sure that the first money order was not cashed by their system.. Filling out a new money order and losing $1 fee is better than taking a chance of having to go through an issue with the first money order. If you wrote a check , just make out a new check and comfirm with your bank regarding the first check. BTW the N-400 application fee is not $675.00 It is $680.00 So you will need to get that refund regarless to avoid sending in an addition $5 money order...

2. Please do put that letter on top of the package as it instructed. They will use the first date (the first time you sent in date ) as the priority date. Good luck

Make sure you go through your application many times. And print double copy to bring one with you during the interview incase they miss place your app or something else. Good luck
