Hi to all of u!!!!
I sent my N-400 application to Vermont Service Center last week and according to US Postal Service tracker ( my item was sent via Priority Mail) it was delivered on Thursday, Sep 27th. My personal check has not been cashed yet (Oct 4th). How long does it generally take for USCIS to issue a receipt form and cash the check?
Application was filled properly and signed
ALL documents supporting it were enclosed and check over 390$ has been made out to Deparment of Homeland Security (no abbreviation). Also I definetely meet ALL citizenship requierements.
So please let me know how long does it can take for N-400 to be accepted by SC (once sent in)
Thanx in advance

Regardless of when they cash your check and mail your receipt, your PD/RD is going to be the date the application was delivered to the service center. Don't worry even if the receipt notice is delayed by few weeks. In the end you don't loose any time because of the delay as it is just a notice and not a request for your action.

well first of all thank you guys very much for your time and effort!!!
The reason why I raised the question above is that my past experience with USCIS (sending different types of applications) was that checks were cashed pretty fast and receipts were issued after a week (at most) after sending my application(s) in.
Is there any time difference between accepting N-400 and other applications, what I mean is
does it take longer for N-400 to be accepted by USCIS Service Center comparing to other types of applications?
Again thank you guys!!!!!!!!
