N-400 Question

Hi, I'm confused about how to answer question 10 part G which reads, "Are you a male who lived in the US at any time between your 18th and 26th birthdays in any status except as a lawful nonimmigrant?""

My husband entered from UK on K-1 visa. We were married in July of 2000 and just celebrated out 9th wedding anniversary...:D

He has had his green card since 2001 and is about to apply for US Citizenship.

We are filling out the form but we think Question 10 part G is difficult to understand. Do we check the box "yes" or "no" I don't know if he is considered an "immigrant" or a "non-immigrant". We're confused!

By the way, he applied for Selective Service within the required time frame.
He is 30 years of age and will be 31 on July 27th.

Thanks for any help you guys can give!

Not sure what the confusion is...you have answered it yourself. :)

1. Did he live in the US between ages 18-26?
2. What was his immigration status? K-1, green card or both?
3. Seems like he was on both and he did register. So answer "yes" to the original question.
4. If I'm wrong and it was just K-1, find out what it is classified as, immigrant or non-immigrant. If non-immigrant, answer "no". If immigrant, then same as #3.
5. Looks like you are covered anyway, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

All this assumes that your husband is a male! :)
