N-400 process time @ Denver

I am currently living in Denver, Colorado.
I filed N-400 in April, 2006. The finger print was done on May, 2006. However, I have not recieved my interview notice. I went to USCIS office couple of times, thet told me my name checking is pending with FBI.

When I read some threads on FBI naming checking process, it makes very conern and worry about this tedious process. Can any one pls. share with me on your N-400 timing in the Colorado region, or give me some advices what I should do now.

You are not alone. According to Denver district office, more than 700 cases in Denver are pending name check. You may start to get FOIPA request, ask help from congressman, etc. Take infopass appointment seems useless, though I also made one on Dec.26. I will post my experience after that.
