a. I now remember that I forgot to include my affiliation with a MLM direct marketing business called 'Quixtar' in which I was 3 years back. Is it advisable to update my N-400 with this information and let the IO know about it? If I include it, will there be any adverse impact on my N-400 application?

b. Secondly, my fiancee has a H-1B Visa to come to US and I would like to know if she can directly land in Westcoast (where I live) or should she land in Eastcoast where her Employer's office is located and who did her H-1B? If she lands in the Westcoast she will give my Address in POE which I am not sure is good to do at this moment or at any time. I am asking this because I am right now in the middle of my N-400 application process.

Thanks for the response in advance.

She can land anywhere in US. That is not an issue at all. As long as she has valid papers for US to enter, the immigration officer will not give her a hard time. She can always say that she couldn't get the connecting flight on time, the fares were expensive or she wants to spend sometime with friends or relatives in West Coast before moving to East Coast. In few days she will book her tkt and will be on her way to East Coast.

I remember that when I moved to the US on a K-1 visa I was told that not all POE were accepting immigrant/non-immigrant visas. For example Cincinnati wss not one of the 10 or 11 designated points of entry. I went through Immigration at JFK.

Quixtar (formerly Amway) really isn't a "club or association" - isn't it more of a job?

You can mention it at the interview and see what the IO says

Go to the Interview with documentation.

If asked, explain documentation. Be prepared for questions.

It should not be problematic.

Flydog,
Quixtar folks consider themselves as having their own business & call themselves as Independent Business Owners.
Thanks all for the responses.

Right, but "self employed" is still "employed". I'd call it a job, not an association. But, that's just me.
