hello,
i applied for citizenship on oct 15,and also done with fingerprints.
the only concern i have with my case is that i was outside of US for more then 6 mnths twice, one for 10 mnths and one for 8 mnths during my last 5 yrs.havent left US during last 3 yrs,so have met the 30 mnth rule.my all family members were in US during my stay abroad.i have my name on their tax returns as dependent. i was in india for this period bec i was in med school in india when we migrtaed to US.i have US driving license from last 7 yrs,and also credit cards.my parents have been living at the same address they came to US.
so i am getting tensed what should i expect during interview, and what documents should i take with me tp prove i never intended to abandon US residency.will i get denied straightaway or there are chances?

Have you received an interview notice yet?

Please keep us updated, would be interesting to see how your case goes, also what is your DO`?

The best of luck to you!!! :)

Your chances are 50/50. Depends on your district and IO. Keep all the proofs of your med school at the time of Interview. Sometimes IO are sympathetic for cases like higher study and being a student abroad when you received GC. best of luck

havent recieved the interview letter yet,but already placed in line for interview, planning to get consultation from lawyer.dont wanna waste my money and time
