Guys,

Can you please post your cases with finger print date around middle of May?

I am curious if anyone received IL. The reason I am anxious is I have to plan travel oversees.

4/11/2007 Sent N-400 applications via regualar mail to VSC.
4/18/2007 Checks posted
4/13/2007 Priority Date
5/3/2007 - NOA for fingerprints
5/18/2007 - Appt. for FP at Newark 1:30 pm
?/??/2007 - Received NOA for Interview
?/??/2007 - Scheduled interview date
?/??/2007 - Oath?

you and I have same dates. Although many people feel otherwise, I think because of this 485 issue, our application processing has slowed down. Going by people with March PDs I was expecting IL in the last week of June and interview in sept. I dont see that happening until they process cases till 18 august. so my best guess is we will get letters in sept and interviws in Nov.

Hope I am wrong.

What is this 485 issue ? I think I not up-to-date on these matters anymore.

they made Priority dates current

Hi,

They made PD current for filing of 485s..that got them flooeded with applications so they want to get rid of that backlog. My guess is they are using resources that process N400 and thats why it has slowed down the processing. again I am saying I hope I am wrong but I dont see any reason why else process has slowed.

hi,

thanks for the clarification....:). now i understand why we havent got the IL yet...u may b correct...so bad though its going to take longer..these matters are never predictable.
