I am planning to send both me and my wife application in a single envelope. Just confused regarding fees, should I send single check of $1350 or 2 seperate checks of $675.

Thanks you in advance.

I am not sure if it is OK to send two application in one envelop.
But you should use two checks for sure. Write A# on each check

From personal experience, I wont recommend sending two applications in one mail. My sister did that with my siblings applicaitons and we found out after 90 days that DHS actually "didnt receive the other application" ( or they threw away one of the applicaiton)..But it could be that its only the TX service center.

So send each application separately. If one wants to save mailing costs, just send them in by first class mail

You should send separate envelopes for sure. You also should be carefully when printing the check date. My relative received his N-400 back with resolution 'check date is in the past more than 6 months'. He wrote 09/10/08 on the check but clerk mixed up 9 with 3.

I sent in two seperate checks for two applications (self and wife), but mailed them in a single envelope. Both the checks got cashed on the same day and both applications are being processed normally so far (fingerprinting completed for both).

I sent 2 applications in 1 envelope with 2 separate checks. Received NOA, fingerprint notice, interview notice, oath letters, oath dates together. No issues.
