Hi, I am hoping to find some help here since i could not find any relevant information in the archive.
Question is that INS split my first name into a first name and a middle name on my green card. And then when i went get my social security card, they insist on using the same name from my green card.
So now I have two sets of names, my passport and birth certificate using one name and green card/social security card another name.
What should I use as my legal name on N-400? If I use the birth certificate name, then according to N-400 instruction, I need to explain why the name is different from green card name. Shall I just attach a letter saying my green card name is wrong? but then how would they know it is my green card.
Thank you very much for the help.
