N-400 Interview questions

Dear all,

I am scheduled to interview in July 11. I wish I could read this forum before I turned in my application since I didn't realized I have to disclose any speeding tickets. I got a speeding ticket 4 years ago and went to the court but eventually the ticket was dropped so I don't need to pay anything. A few years ago I got a ticket in a slow speed zone. I paid for the ticket and took a traffic online class and I didn't go to court. Since I didn't mention in my application, should I bring it up during interview? Should I also get the proof from traffic court that I paid for the ticket?

Besides, do I have to get IRS transcripts or I can just get the copy of tax returns that should be enough?

For selective service registration, I just find out I need to get the status information letter. it may take 4 - 6 weeks to get one. In case, I could not get the letter, Can I just bring in all my I-20?

Thanks for your advice.

The issue of reporting minor traffic tickets has been discussed many times on this forum. The bottom line is that CIS is not interested in your minor traffic tickets. Whether you report them or not, it won't affect your application. However, if you report or mention minor traffic tickets, some officier think they are obliged to check for receipts. If you decide to mention them, then make sure that you have receipts for interview. If you don't have receipts, then don't bother to mention them.
