:mad:Folks,

I am scheduled for interview in Feb second week in Newark, NJ DO. I have a DUI from 2008. My license was suspended for 3 months and 6 hours of IDRC. There was no probation. I do know that since there is no prabstion the chances of getting approved are very high but needs the supervisor's review. My question is will it be approrpiate to ask the officer to make the decision on the same day if possible as Newark has oath ceremonies happening on same day. Any feed back is really appreciated.

It is possible if your IO's supervisor is in offce and not busy with other stuff that day and
your IO bother to spend extra time to take yoru case to his supervisor
for immediate signoff. You can ask for it but don't count upon it.

Thanks WBH, I just dont want to make IO mad:confused:. So wanted to make sure it is appropriate to ask.

Sometimes an IO can be nice enough to do it on his own without you asking for it. But I beleive usally they are not eager to help a particular applicant. When the IO tells you that "a decision can not be made because I need to run it with my supervisor". You can catch that moment to ask "Is it possible you run it with your supervisor now?". But Don't push it too hard as if they owe you something
