I have a question regarding my husbands approval.......He received the N-652 form after his interview yesterday which reads "Congratulations! your application has been recommended for approval.....". :) and the officer said that he should be receiving his oath letter in the next 2-3mths.

My question is why does he have to wait till then? He had his inteview in Dallas Tx. And another question can anyone please tell me what do we need to do regarding my I-130 application which he filed since 2001? Does he have to wait till his oath ceremony to inquire about this? Can anyone give some views pls.........thanx in advance.

why?
because it takes time to schedule the oath.

from what i understand is, there is nothing he can do before he becomes a US citizen. He is still a PR in United State.

he can inquire the case statue. what are you trying to do at all?

inquire = ask question (well, sorry for making an "assumption" if it is not what you wanted to say)

is it what your husband is going to do? or what else?

Thanks for responding..........I just thought that it wouldnt take so long b4 he got the oath ceremony becuz of the timings i read from other ppl, some get the oath the same day or a week or 2 (i guess its just different for everyone and where it was filed)

Just maybe my choice of words were off......I was just wondering whether there was anything that could have been done regarding the I-130 in terms of speeding up the process but i'm assuming since u said that "he is still a PR" (i understand now) he has to wait till he becomes a citizen at the oath ceremony.

Thank u for responding. I appreciate it.
