N-400 Form Part 2 question

Hi All,

One of the options for eligibility question says:

I have been a lawful permanent resident of the United States for at least five years.

I think this is applicable to employment based (5 years rule) applicants. But my question is, can we check this option even if we apply 90 days before 5 year completion period? Because at that time of submitting the form, the applicant might not have completed 5 years of permenent residency.

Yeah, this is the option you have to check. By the time you get the interview, it will most likely be five years.
