n-400 finger printing in alexandria VA- what is your experience?

Hello all!

I got my letter for fingerprinting at the alexandria office next month. I am going with my husband and 5 yr old son but not sure if they would be allowed in. could someone be kind as to tell us hopefuls what we should expect to happen when we go to that office and how long the process would take?

They take walkins.I always tell my friends to go on you day you are off rather than wait for day it is schdule.They only allow applicants who have letter .No spouse or kids .Best thing to do is go afternoon and have your spouse and kid wait in car.Something it take few hours depending on rush.Most of the time it is in and out in 30 mins.Good luck.:)
