N-400 filing questions

Can someone please answer the following questions:

1- Filing fees of $260 + $50=$310. Should I send one check for $310 or two separate checks?

2- Can I mail two N-400's (my own and spouse's) in one packet?

3- I got my green card on 12/17/1997. So with the 90 day rule, I should be able to mail in the N-400 on or after 9/19/2002?

**** It's best to send out two separate checks.

2- Can I mail two N-400's (my own and spouse's) in one packet?

***** Yes. It's best to FedEx the package in order to be able to keep track of the package.
