I had a misdemeanor conviction and paid fine $250. Now applying for Citizenship. Do we need to include certified copies of court records along with the N400 application or do we just need to take them for the interview?

I was thinking to just send photo copies along with the application and then show the certified copies to the IO during the interview if asked.

I wouldn't send in the documents with the application.

Bring it with you to the interview. If the IO asks for it then hand it to him/ her.

How many certified copy you have?

If you get unlimited number of certified copies, you can just send in certified copies. If you have only one, you can send in photocopies and bring certified copies in person.

I got only photocopies at present to file with the application and just requested certified copies after reading about them in the N400 Instructions. I am not sure whether we send these court records along with the application or not. Do we just mention the incidents in the application and then just produce them during the interview. But the document check list mentions the original or certified copies here at this link:

If you don't send in original, I am not sure if they will request you
to send in original by mail before giving you an interview or
will just ask you to bring original to the interview.
