N-400: Don't Have Exact Travel Dates

Hi all,
I have a good record of my numerous trips over the past 5 years but don't know the 'exact' length of the trips. I had no idea trips were going to be something I would need 5 yrs down the road when I apply for Nat.
My question is as follows: Let's say I know the trip was 'less than' 30 days, can I go ahead and say 30 days just to be on the safe side. Or if the trip lasted 10-11 days but not sure, can I go ahead and say the trip lasted 2 weeks. In other words, I would be claiming extra days outside the country. I would still be left with enough days to prove my continuous and physical presence. For lack of better words, I would be giving the INS 'extra' days.

Thanks,

USCIS is very consistenly checks international travel dates and specifically IO at interview wants to see your passports with arrival/departure stamps for the last 5 years for many reasons: make sure you didn't travel to some "evil country" and that you didn't break your Permanent Resident continous residence requirement.

You better start collecting all documents for those trips, or else...

Hello,
I have another question, I have my GC since May 2000 but my passport was lost in 2003 and I don't have any departure/arrival records before June 2004. So I do have the records for the past 4 years, but nothing before. It will be to the best of my knowledge and memory. I Do you think that this maybe a problem at the interview? Will they be looking at the entire 8 year-period or just the last 5 years?
