I'm going to fire the app around the 13th anyway since I'm still collecting some info.

It should be 4 years, 9 months excluding the end date (08/10)

I used this calculator).

Filing early even within 90 days seem to carry another kind of risk.
You can get an interview date that is before your 5 year maturity date
so that USCIS may reschedule your interview even though in theory
it is oath data that should be after 5 years of GC. Rescheduling timeline
can be very unstable. I don't know why rescheduling is so hard for USCIS
to do. Their own interoffice memo says "rescheduling is very costly"

HI,
just want to tell about the documents we were asked during interview:
Green card, SS card, passport pictures, and original passport.
We did bring tax printouts, birth certificate, marriage certificate, but none of these were asked.
I did bring an notarized affidavit because I didn't join Selective Service (I explained to him that I didn't know about SS until now), he asked for the letter and said that it is no big deal now since I am 32 yrs old.
Our IO was a very nice guy, the core interview was like 5 minutes, and we chatted about local stuff.
He also explained that after the oath ceremony, we will not deal with INS anymore.

Hope this helps anybody who reads it.

My timeline (same as my wife's) in Fresno:
2009/04/10 - Sent N-400
2009/04/22 - NOA
2009/05/01 - Finger print letter
2009/05/12 - FP Finished
2009/06/?? - Interview letter received
2009/07/09 - Interview
2009/08/10 - Oath ceremony

You are very correct! The good thing is that in my state they seem to call people in for interview after 4-6 months, by which time I should be pass the 5 year mark.
