N-400 Denied based on 3 Month Minimum State Residency Requirement - Reapply

I moved to New York state in April 2013 and submitted my N-400 application in June 2013. I completed my interview in December 2013, and my application was denied based on eligibility of not meeting minimum 3 months stay in the State which I had submitted my application. I had lived in NY State for a little less than 2 months at the time of application submission.

Now, I would like to reapply for the N-400 before my permanent resident card expires Nov 2014. It has been about 9 months since I lived in state of NY and I can prove my residency with my apartment lease papers starting in Aug 2013.

My question is --Can I reapply for N-400 immediately? Or, is there a wait period before I can reapply again? My decision letter does not state how soon/when I can reapply for naturalization again. Please suggest any advice if you have any experience with this situation.

Thanks!!

When denied for insufficient residence or physical presence, you can reapply as soon as you have accumulated the necessary amount of residence/presence, provided nothing else is wrong. Sometimes that is immediately, sometimes that means waiting for years.

If that was the only thing wrong with your application and you haven't done anything since then to jeopardize your eligibility (long trips, getting arrested), you can reapply immediately now that you have completed the 3 months in New York.
